The Association participates in the Northern Inland District Cricket Competitions on Sundays and regularly hosts cricket carnivals of regional or state significance as well as fixtures against international teams.

A community organisation for seniors supporting community and shire residents and projects. Group meeting are held every second Sunday from 2 - 4 pm in the meeting room at the Creative Arts Centre. Group office located in the town hall complex and open to the public weekdays.
The club conducts competition bridge at the Gunnedah Services Club Monday and Wednesday afternoons at 1.00pm (except on the second Wednesday of each month) and the second Thursday night each month at 5.30pm. For dinner bridge and the fourth Thursday night at 6.45pm. Also Saturdays @ 1.00pm.

Gunnedah Little Athletics motto is ""Family Fun and Fitness"". The aim for each member is simply to BE YOUR BEST (and not comparing yourself to others). To encourage this the Club's focus is on PBs, not placements.
"Gunnedah Pistol Club was established in 1965 and moved to the persent site at Borthistle Hill Mullaley Road in 1971. Target pistol shooting is an Olympic event and is controlled by the international body ""ISSF"" and nationally by ""Pistol Australia"". In NSW the organising body is ""NSW Amateur Pistol Association"". Shooting and licencing is overseen by the NSW Police and Firearms Registry. Gunnedah Pistol Club has shooting matches every Sunday from 9am."

Lake Keepit Sailing Club provides the most complete opportunity for sail training recreational sailing and competitive sailing for people of all ages in northwest NSW. Races are conducted every Sunday during the sailing season. Visitors are always welcome.
