Cattle sales are held each Tuesday and a Store Sale
is held on a monthly basis and visitors are welcome
to attend the sales to get a real idea of Australian
country living.
In the financial year ended 30 June 2001, the Gunnedah
Saleyards turned over a massive $68 million, up $10
million on the previous year.
The Gunnedah Saleyards employs around 50 people including
14 agents.
