Gunnedah Aged Care Services Ltd (GACSL) comprises 58 High Level Nursing Home beds – Lundie House, 14 Low Level Hostel beds – McAuley and 16 Dementia Specific beds – Inala. This gives a total of 88 Residential Aged Care beds for our community, one of which is a permanent respite bed. The three tiers of Aged Care in one facility allows the residents to move to the most appropriate section as their care needs alter, without needing to move to another facility. GACSL is unique in our community for this multi tiered care delivery.

 The complex is situated at the foot of Porcupine Lookout with outstanding views of the Liverpool Plains. The Nursing Home section (Lundie House) was opened in 1991 and has been recently refurbished in line with the new Hostel and Dementia wings which were opened in 2007. The facility has a fully operational kitchen that provides freshly cooked meals to residents using local fresh produce. It also boasts a new commercial laundry and a beautiful lounge room for the residents with magnificent views of Porcupine, often noting koalas and kangaroos in the surrounding paddocks.

 GACSL now employs over 110 staff including Registered Nurses, Endorsed Enrolled Nurses, Enrolled Nurses, Assistants in Nursing, Wardspersons & porter, Hotel services, Activities and Administration.
