| It's cute alright, with wild ideas, funny lines and a central premise that reinforces loyalty and being true to yourself. The film is smartly structured allowing both the humans and the animals to interact within their own worlds. Technically brilliant, it's a credit to the filmmakers that we are able to make a leap of canine faith and enter the wonderful, zany world of the immaculately groomed and designer-dressed pampered pooch Chloe. It's a love story and a buddy movie that involves many adventures. Best of all, this is a film that transcends age and will appeal to anyone who loves animals and who loves to laugh. It's light-hearted and playful escapism that's thoroughly enjoyable.

| Convincing and gripping, Body of Lies is at the epicentre of Ridley Scott's (Blade Runner)comfort zone as an action adventure with political overtones as well as some intimate human insights. Little wonder he chose to work with Russell Crowe again, giving Crowe another crack at an overweight character, this time as a CIA helmsman working - sometimes secretly - with field agent Roger Ferris, played with verve by Leonardo DiCaprio, who maintains an inexhaustible level of energy throughout. - Urbancinefile
